George smiled and sighed contently before checking the clock on the wall.
"Any minute, now.”
"What?" a stranger asked. She sat next to him in the waiting room.
"Oh," he chuckled. "My daughter's coming to visit. I’m so excited!”
The woman smiled and nodded. "That's great."
A frowning nurse entered and said, "Visiting hours are over, now, miss."
"Thank you," the woman replied. She leaned over and kissed the old man on the cheek. "I love you, Daddy."
