When my daughter Mandi was younger, my friend mentioned she was hungry. Minutes later Mandi appears with sandwiches. We thanked her and bit in. Puzzled, my friend asked why it only had mayo on it. Assured, she turned and said “sometimes we got meat, sometimes we don’t.”

My friend and I were on the porch talking and my daughter Mandi, who was about 6 at the time overheard her and decided to fix us lunch. She came back with two pieces of bread and mayo slathered all over. She proudly told us why there was only mayo and my friend and I fell out of our chairs laughing so hard.
