Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
sort of self-explanatory

The Doormat

My welcome mat
for you,
would never be
rolled up.
 
Rather would I ever
attend to
its many bruises.
 
Delicately wash
and renew
the offering
it represents.
 
The cloth of me
laid out
for your approach.
 
Your approval.
 
And most of all
for the tenderness
with which you
walk upon it,
