There is no prescription
To become a Christian
It’s not by one man’s book,
Read two chapters of Luke
Then relax and read Acts
It’s not found in earthly facts
Not in denomination
Not just in sin cessation
Never in coins with gilding
It's not in one building
You can’t grow it from seed
Just His blood, you must plead
When Christ died on the Cross
All our sins were His loss
He rose, man to assure
It’s our heart He holds dear
When you know His sweet voice
Just follow, by your choice
Love Him with heart and soul
Repent, know you are whole
