ode to the mighty Subaru

The Suburu  SBU

Is the workhorse

Of SBU’s,

Prized for its sturdy nature

Its reliability and versatility

It seems that it is the national car

Of the Pacific Northwest.

From Alaska

 to Northern California

The Subaru seems to be

The King of the Road.

Along with its cousins

The pickup trucks.

Everyone seems to have one.

Or wants to have one.

Men drive around

In their northwest uniform.

Beards, caps

Western style shirt

Khaki or jeans

Sneakers or boots.

Driving their Subaru

Around town.
