The secret to a smile
The Photo
by Wayne Fowler
Needing a photo of ourselves, we dressed in our Sunday best, striking a pose – time after time ad nauseum. We simply could not get our smiles right, they were superficial, at best. There was no eye sparkle, no cheek color, no perky ears, nothing.
Then I removed my pants, and finally convinced my beautiful bride to do the same. We stood against the wall as naked from the waist down as the day we were born. You should see the glow! (On our faces.)
Despite immediately cropping the result, she still does not trust that people won’t know the truth.
