How to enjoy an ice cream cone

Don't Lick Too Quick

An ice cream cone is a great summer treat
When a darting tongue and ice cream scoop meet
But you don't want to bite or lick too quick
Grasp the cone and take a savory lick

Lick around the ice cream, but not with haste
Indulge in the flavorful, sweet, cool taste
Careful with your licks don't want any drips
Makes a sticky mess on your fingertips

Lick and lick round and round until the cone
Nibble the crispy delight slow and sweet
Enjoy ice cream as a year around treat
The creamy pleasure is never outgrown
