A renewed love.

Love Never Left

by Jodi Ann Anderson

My cares have left, have gone away,

Seems like a week, maybe a day,

So void of thought, I sit and stare,

My mind's unpleasant being bare,

And was your distant coldness true?

Or, was it really me, not you?

Then, soon a lot of tears were shed,

Such raw emotions filled my head,

The love seemed gone, or pushed aside,

Allowing room for fear to hide,

The fear of known and unknown too,

A fear of somehow losing you,

I, instantly began to rise,

Then turned and saw your loving eyes,

I felt beautiful once more,

A deeper love than felt before,

Possessively, I grabbed you tight,

With pure obsession in my sight,

You pressed your lips against me more,

With fiercer love than felt before,

Like each a magnet holding tight,

I yearned for it to feel so right,

There's nowhere that I'd rather be,

Than with you for eternity.
