Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
My whole world tipped when everything...

Flipped

by Boogienights

Today my house turned upside down,
I really can't say why.
It looks though, that I'll have to bake,
a new blueberry pie.

My furniture has all been flipped,
it all went ceiling-bound.
My TV too, it makes me blue,
it really does astound!

I went outside, I walked on sky,
the ground is up above.
The clouds were squishy to step on,
not something that I love.

The mail from my box spilled out,
this madness I can't take.
My neighbors too, have houses flipped,
annoying, no mistake.

I'd like to make some eggs to eat,
I'm hanging from a rope.
My fridge I opened, eggs fell out,
I'm starting to lose hope.

My upside-down cat's chasing mice,
his milk's a waterfall.
His cat food's on the ceiling floor,
and really that's not all...

I'd like to walk my dog but he
is far too high to see.
 A bafflling dilemma,
plus, l think he peed on me.

Most everything not nailed down,
is now up in the air.
Except for me, how can this be?
This really isn't fair.

It's dark outside but it's still day,
will night reveal the light?
Should I put my pajamas on?
Is it daytime or night?

I think I'll tie myself in bed,
hope I'll wake up to see...
That everything is right side up,
just like it used to be.

My blueberry pie, still intact,
my eggs did not all break.
I really hope this is a dream,
for my sanity's sake.
