Invitation to Dinner

Sheila prepared the plate with pride and smiled.
She had invited the man in her life to dinner, and this would hopefully be the best he had ever tasted.
Handing the dish to him, she said, “Dinner is served.”
Tasting the muddy meal, he chimed, “Dee-lish!”
“Oh, thank you, Daddy!”
