The Huntâ??s On

by The Duchess of Drumborg

A couple of days ago my little feline ate some sort of bait. Needless to say I was furious. Thank God she’s recovering, but others haven’t been so fortunate. Then I found there was quite of lot of this going on around the town. With several cats dead and their owners mourning their furry companions passing something had to be done.

I rang my vet and the local police who felt the same as I did on this subject. Anyone who harms defenceless animals in my opinion should be castrated. Fortunately I have a cousin who is a vet and would perform this operation free of charge! I’d happily hand his the scalpel after scrubbing up as roughly as I could. Blood poisoning would be as far from a tragedy as garrotting the maniac would be.

The bastard will be dead meat when I get through with him. Our posse will be on the hunt ‘til we find and punish the evil fiend. As well as the fact that little kids could easy eat the baits and die a horrific death, animal lovers and parents have to be constantly vigilant.

It’s our duty to protect those who are unable to protect themselves.  Fence sitters are as bad as those who complain and do nothing. When this type of thing happens give your conscience and your muscles a good workout!

I've never been one to sit on the sideline.
