Oh, you are... are you? Contest Winner 

. You are wise, aren’t you, because you see … How ordinary everyone else can be! You are clever as your words unfold, Telling stories that have never been told. . You are smart, aren’t you, with ready wit … You don’t think of yourself as a silly twit! You dress with flair, and you walk with grace,  You know you’re not mere commonplace. . You are so thoughtful, yes, kind and sweet … The nicest girl one will ever meet! You even sing with awesome power, Never make all your hearers cower. . You are the life of the party, always fun … Mixing easily with everyone You do everything with perfect style ... All eyes are on you, which makes you smile! . Wait, the poem was supposed to be … Written for fun, about plain old me! I’m none of those things I said before ... It was all lies – I am just an old bore! .

Writing Prompt Write a humorous free verse or free style poem about YOU, as though you are talking to yourself! Recommended (but not required) that you start every stanza (except your last stanza) with "You are..." . You may start your last stanza with whatever you choose. Your poem can be of any length and genre.
