Make peace with your broken pieces
You gave me your heart ,
I held it like rain.
Slipping through my finger tips,
While I rattled your brain.
You were counting down the days,
I was coming up with lies.
I was selfish,
What can I say,
Disrupted your life,
But I couldn't change.
I had to be cruel,
to get through to you.
The What ifs circling my mind.
I'm alone broken,
Well your probably fine.
I see your face,
any time I am happy.
I wonder if your thinking,
about me.
