Behind your eyes a smile that shines upon your given face

Obscuring an unfocused stare a very darkened place

You say you love, you say you care but that is just a veil

The eyes a path to a soul that finds comfort in hell

You pass others on the street and nod at one or two

But only those who really look will see the hidden you

As you use the looking glass to dwell on who you are

The reflection that comes back is coming from afar
