Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
the inclination for comparison

interconnected

by Amandaperf

the lady with the small dog outside my window

a yellow scarf coils around her neck

decadent lemons I left by my letters

Ophelia planted placid among the barren earth

peace in the simplicity of presence

abstract is the essence of all I could be

I've been sitting here flaccid with each waning crescent

thoughts stole from my mouth this morning

swollen swallows try to release regret

if I never see beyond these confines

understand my being was my undoing

metallic truths puncture the purity of what was

duality may dormant this vessel

when will they virtue a poet or clairvoyant?

perhaps in another life, some will search for me

I'll be the lady with the small dog outside the window
