Don't fly too high!

I'll die! Bye-Bye! "Don't cry."

"Your kite, so bright, will light in sight."

Writing Prompt
Write a poem that follows this syllable count: 2-4-6-8. So the first line has two syllables, second line has four, third line has six and the final line has eight syllables.


A father does his best to reassure his daughter that they will be able to retrieve her kite, prey to a sudden gust of wind.
