A day in the life

Slave of Time

          Slave of Time
 
Raindrops static on the windshield 
Dark low clouds linger above
The drive begins and rain obstructs vision
Cars slow, sleet assaults from all angles
Advancement hindered to 2 miles per hour
Time and schedules stretched beyond reach
Excuses brewing about tardiness, again
