Two friends discussing how to survive and animal attack

A 'serious' discussion

by kitty7_1

Look, all I’m saying is that with enough time and planning I can take on a bear. But a mountain lion? Nah, man. Not risking that one.

I know I’m going to regret this….Please, enlighten me.

Well you see, bears are predictable. Right? They lumber at you all ‘rawwwwr’ and stuff. You can see it comin’ a mile away.

And the mountain lion is….more reserved in it’s pursuit?

Bingo! They hide. Stalk. Follow. You won’t see ‘em coming. Not for nothing!

So…. you plan a counter attack for the bear. And simply accept your fate with the mountain lion.

Yep. Ya go into it with a big stick, or a bat, or something. Then when the bear is sprinting at you, you wave it around like a mad man.

You’ve already got that part down pat.

Hush…. So, I’m waving the stick, right? And oh no, the bear isn’t spooked. Luckily, I had time to PLAN! I’ve already got one of those padded anti-dog bite suits on.

A dog bite and a bear bite are very different things.

Planned on that too. I reinforced it to withstand a bear bite! BOOM! Flawless plan.

I suppose it does sound reasonable….. Except….

Except?

Wouldn’t the same plan work for the mountain lion? It may stalk and attack, however screaming and waving your stick would still work. As would the bite proof suit. In theory, at least.

……..

…….

Dude…. I could survive BOTH ATTACKS!
