a callback to my favorite game in elementary school

Geometry Dash

by Kaje

When I was younger,

I always wondered.

Why other people,

Found themselves bored.

Throughout the days,

I always played games.

Like in a daze,

Never looking away.

Geometry Dash,

Would draw my gaze.

For hours each day,

I played this game.

I’d try my best,

To beat high scores.

That i had set before,

Cus’ i yearned for more.

Avoiding blocks,

That ended in loss.

Doing my best,

To avoid a mess.

To this day,

I guess i still play,

The same silly games.

In my day to day.

Spending days,

Writing away.

Still in a daze,

Just like old days.

Story ideas,

Fill my brain.

And for hours a day,

I type away.

I try my best,

To follow my fathers steps.

That he has set,

Not done placing just yet.

Avoiding people,

That set my self worth.

Just as low,

As filthy old dirt.

just another poem i wrote in free time during class. this ones a throw back to an old game.
