Love

Flame

Sweeter than peaches
harder than a rock
in yet I envy him.

His warmth
his kindness
his compassion.

Mysterious, sometimes cold and strict
At times unbearably stubborn
How I yarn to be by his side
as I lose myself within his eyes.

Within all this time I come to see
what I love in him
I love in me.
