I would do anything for you, my Adelynn, but you pretend not to see my naked being whenever you feel me drowning in unrequited love And it breaks my heart when I see you so lost staring aimlessly afar beyond all of his lies My Adelynn, who cares if anyone knows about your displaced love for him
you deserve so much more
I offer you all I have —
my loyal soul,
my wounded heart,
my hidden desire, and my broken dreams ... besides ... a n y t h i n g
you need and want - except the memory of that hazy dusk- strolling at the beach when you needed a shoulder to cry on ignoring my wounded heart full of unrequited love  |
