This Christmas

There's quarrels some will mend;

And there's cards some will send.

Listen with open mind;

Smile at others, be kind.

Do not judge anyone;

Don't forget to have fun.

Learn how to give advice;

Take time to sacrifice.

Give lots of joy away;

Mean all the words you say.

Others' strengths you should see.

And help them be carefree.

Share laughter, hugs, and tears.

Try to ease your friends' fears.

Be patient in every way.

Watch the children at play.

Receive as well as give.

Count your blessings, forgive.

Love others, accept blame.

Remember each friend's name.
