Parents are Dandy

by Raul1

Parents are a comfort
they give me great support
Mom tells me bedtime stories each night
Then tucks me in to sleep tight

Teddy, my bear, reminds me to count sheep
They'll protect me from monsters in the deep
Mom is pure love and Dad is a bit cheap

I listen with Teddy while Mom reads to me
It's fun—about a talking bumblebee
who invites me to a tea

My eyes grow heavy and close
as the bee tickles my nose
then does the same to my toes
