One Drink Too Many
by Wils
Jack’s time was coming.
He had felt it for a while, like an aura surrounding him. A sense of peace knowing that he would be relieved of pain.
Not that he wanted to go. This place was too exciting to leave. Stories were being told; jokes were laughed at; but with each guffaw, Jack’s body was telling him it was getting closer.
Jack politely excused himself from the dinner table and made his way down the hallway. Closing the door behind him he felt the warmth as he unzipped his fly.
Jack knew he shouldn’t have had that last wine.
