The Magic Doughnut

I love the Magic Doughnut!
He's so fresh, and never stale!

He's not like other doughnuts in the boxes up for sale.

He's not like doughnuts they bake fresh in shops every day.

He's a special kind of doughnut,
made a special kind of way!

They say the wheat that's in his dough
was grown in outer space,

And secret Martian sugar gives him magic yummy taste.

His icing has a spicing that you'd
never ever guess!

Plus his sprinkles always twinkle so much brighter than the rest!

You can take a bite of him!
The dough will grow right back!

He'll even give you some to go
and stuff it in a sack!

I've never got to taste him
but I spotted him one day

Feeding flocks of pigeons,
then he jumped and flew away.
