At 4 am, Lucy Chan heard someone break into her 2nd floor balcony.
Alone in her bedroom, she reached for her snub nosed .38 revolver, grabbed her flashlight, and walked into the living room where she confronted the intruder.
He laughed when he saw her. "Give me your money, old lady," he said.
Lunging toward her, Lucy shot twice.
She dialed 911. "Sergeant 442. Burglary at 127 Nostrand Ave. Shots fired, dispatch the Sector Supervisor."
