As she rocked me back and forth, it was just a peaceful noise 

I later heard her lullaby with such a soothing voice

Too young to know of music, but I loved her sound of choice

As she sang I felt her heart beat, and heard her love rejoice


For me, the next would be; the song and talk so suitable

A little box called radio, would prove quite usable

A lovely piece of furniture, made music beautiful

A record or an album turned, and then turned musical


 I felt so cool in my teen years, with eight track in my car 

I played my drums in high school band, at home I played guitar

Records, Eight track, cassette, CD; are what I've lived so far 

You then could hear your music from a jukebox in a bar


So even at my age, I still love Country, Rock or Pop

I tell Alexa play the songs I once danced till I'd drop

YouTube and Siri; also good to find songs once on top

The music tracked in my lifetime, I know someday will stop
