a message of love

You are the Sunshine

Two Stanza Poem Contest Winner 

 

You are the sunshine in the morning dew

The warmth of afternoon beneath the pine

The brilliance in the sky of cobalt blue

A message that I’m yours and you are mine.

 

You are the moonlight in the velvet sky

That shines and shimmers on the mountain lake

The murmurs of our love’s sweet lullaby

That keeps me safe til morn when we awake.
