“Petite fille, reviens ici.”   (Little girl, come here)

Paying no attention, the special needs child hurried to the back of the bus, scrunched next to my son to the surprise of her mother.  I was a spectator.

“Comment vas tu- ma princesse?"  (How are you my princess?)

Giggling, the princess blushed.

“Je suis Sofia et toi?"  (I am Sophie, and you?)

“je suis Monsieur Max"  (I`m Mr. Max)

The two sat and laughed.

“Sophia, il est temps d`y aller.”  (Sophie, time to go)

The princess stepped off the bus, turned and blew a kiss to Max.

I was a proud father.
