Compassion walks on any street,
it's moved by love, two friendly feet.
It shows no bias, judgement talk;

Its heart's displayed in every way,
its light will shine come night come day.
Responds to need, its grace arrayed,

What moves its soul to bless and care,
because of grace, and grace is rare.
To godly deeds, its heart enfolds,

Love understands it moves in sync,
and with compassion blends and links.
For time can never soil its hands,
