Beware of repercussions for abusive behaviour.
What's For Dinner?
Never thought that this would happen
When I said that I love you
My eggs are in this basket
But you’ve made my life boo-hoo
So different from the days when
I thought my dreams would all come true
Think you’ve clipped my wings forever
With your forceful point of view
You push me and you pull me
I’m afraid when I’m ’round you
You only speak while shouting
And it’s made me feel so blue.
I’m in a flap, I’m stressing
Will you listen? No, not you
You think ev’rything is my fault
But that’s what you always do
The children are all squawking
And the bills are overdue
There’s no food in the pantry
There’s no one to blame but you
You’re running ’round in circles
Headless chicken, got no clue
Now I’ve got a plan I’m hatching
The idea just grew and grew
The kitchen knife is sharpened
It will easily run you through
It’s such a simple solution —
Tonight you’re chicken BBQ
Written to draw attention to mental health awareness. Apart from personal harm, domestic abuse can often have serious psychological impact. I do not condone murder as a solution to end the abuse, but I note that it is sometimes the result.
I suggest it is better to go to a food bank than to eat your husband.
