5-7-5 Poetry Contest contest entry
This winter, our lawn was dormant for much longer than normal. I have an unfortunate sense of permanence about everything, including lawns, so I was wringing my hands, grieving for greenery. We brought in a lawn specialist who tested the soil and then fertilized the lawn with nitrogen and oh happy day, it became green. I am now one happy woman with a happy green lawn!
