Glittering Threads

Mothers are the morning sun
They make sunshine til day is done
Fathers are the evening moon
They guard sweet dreams that end too soon
Children are the scented earth
Both sun and moon bless their sweet birth
The sun and moon and scented earth
Are blessed by God above
Glittering threads silver and gold
Of His abiding love
