An indictment on today's world scene.
Out Of Time
We should be living by Godly decrees
When God looks at us, he cannot be pleased
Hate is ruining a world created by God's love
Earth must look like a trash dump when viewed from above
Today we will kill each other, just to follow a trend
Picket Signs and Protest marches won't bring it to an end
If you want closure, close the door on hatred
We should feed the hungry, and clothe the naked
Give the homeless a place to live, is that too much to ask?
Why must something this simple, pose such a daunting task?
Are we responsible for the times in which we live?
We have so much more than we are willing to give
We risk becoming desensitized by frequent violent acts
That we are a violent society, is a verifiable fact
Mass murders, vigilante executions of other races
Police commit atrocities with blank stares on their faces
We are rushing towards an end that may take some by surprise
They have been misled by the spread of vicious lies
The greedy fool the gullible, by appealing to fear and hate
They realize with jail doors closing, for them it is now too late
I could go on, but time is short, the end is very near
Denial of the things I have said, I can already hear
What I have stated is much more than a rhyme
If we do not change our ways, we will be out of time

This is just my impression of the world we live in today.
If things don't change, who knows what tomorrow may bring?
