Rumble to the Rescue
by Barry Penfold
The walk to the Twin Valley Bridge was an easy one. Almost like it was meant to be. A single step over the bridge railing and then one further step forward and Jim would plummet into the ravine. Certain death. Nothing in his pockets. A last deep breath . Ready.
The yappy bark turned Jim around. Rumble had followed him. Thank God.Thank Rumble. There was only one thing to do now. Take Rumble back home.
