Mystery of Friendship

Who knows what makes two people friends
what silent signals do they send
when do they realize feelings are there
where are they when they start to care
why try why dare why take a chance
what music starts the friendship dance?

These questions have no answer key
friendship is truly discovery
all lives are richer with friends who care
who offer their gift of love to share
the value of friendship is very clear
days are much better when friends are near.
