Rosy's song...

by royowen

Her smile brought calm to stormy clouds,
and stole the sorrow from time's shrouds.
She worshiped like her praise had wings,
and taught the Angels' hearts to sing.

This time will pass, the breeze still blows,
your tears will too, God's wisdom knows.
God's light shines bright as windless skies
are azure blue where beauty sighs.

If one can see beyond tomorrow,
all pain's erased from tears and sorrow.
A million dreams converge as one
all gathered whole within the Son.

(Rosy's song)
There are so many Angels here, they praise the Lord most high.
As countless saints sing line on line, with worship's joy-filled cry.
I stand here at this wondrous place, where grace and love incline.
And on His throne the Lord God sits, His LIGHT in glory shines.

Where once a single teardrop fell, grief's gathered in the Son.
Defeating sin and death's own sting, in Christ, salvation won.
I'll wait beside the waters still, in Jesus' love I'll stand,
no longer as a pilgrim walks, I'm home in Beulah land.

I was talking with a lovely lady at church Sunday last (13/6/2021)
with here mum Joan 97, who had smuggled bibles into China.
Rosy was discovered deceased Monday 14th by hubby of only 2 years Matt. It was an absolute tragedy, as she and Matt + others, hand out food, and other comforts at a local train station faithfully every Thursday. She will be sadly missed, such a vital lady, she is with the Lord now. This is a tribute to her memory.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57 O death, where is your sting? O grave where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Written in 3 stanzas of aabb in tetrameter, and two in heptametric with aabb rhyming.
Thanks for reading Roy Owen,
