a spring poem

bide our time

by judester

Spring peeks around the corner
and waves with blissful glee,
she wants to have a party
in the woods beneath the trees.

I break it to her gently,
in case she doesn't know.
Our favorite little picnic spot
lays white beneath the snow.

Okay she compromises,
we will bide our time.

My gloved hand slowly rises,
in my "I will call you' mime.
