Ode to FanStory Friends
Reflections of greatness are glimpsed in the writings
of poets and authors I read on this site.
Each scribble and thought that you share with this reader,
are savored and pondered with avid delight.
Each story I follow engages my interest;
I'm spellbound and wrapped in each clever subplot.
No longer are novels my choice for night reading,
for where else can I suggest changes ~ or not.
My thirst for more knowledge in writing new verses,
has led me to classes taught by a Welsh man.
Exchanging fresh points as we sift through each nuance,
incites me to strive as I grow and expand.
So many of you share my passion for writing;
our friendships were forged as we clasped ink-stained hands.
No other collection of writers can fathom
this drive for expression... you do understand!
Here's hats off to you, my dear FanStory fam'ly,
our homes are diverse ~ separated by miles.
With sincere devotion, I send you warm greetings
that carry best wishes, big hugs, and bright smiles. :)
