Sacred Contracts

That is what surrender looks like!

Wisdom has poured through the hourglass
of time for eons upon eons,
like the sand sifting
across the desert.

Spiritual masters --
Abraham, Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad,
and all those unseen, unheard
Wisdom teachers
before and that will come after
they, are the gatekeepers of your Higher Purpose.

The seeker must abandon
the death grip on earthy treasures,
bound up in the egoic striving
to store up and hoard material possessions,
those money-grubbing, bourgeois habits.

If you are the seeker
and you desire to be
an unrestrained explorer,
freed from self imposed shackles...
Search for
and then shine Light
onto your Sacred Contract,
then surrender!

Yield from fear and worry,
do not succumb to wants and desires,
go deep into your Higher Self,
quiet your selfish thoughts,
and be Still.

Allow the ripples in the waves of Life's streams
be like music from a harp
gently moving you toward
the Light that shines
brilliantly on the purpose
and the meaning of your Life.

When you see the Light...
Then your most
significant challenge will be,
to know that your Spiritual Contract
will bring about
your most intriguing
challenges and opportunities
to live into your
Spiritual commitments.

Then, drink deeply  
from the calm waters
of your lifestream
and live into your
fullest and highest abilities.

That is what surrender looks like!
