Axis Mundi

Axis Mundi (Latin: Axis of the World or Cosmic Axis) is the concept of a "thing" that connects our world to other worlds, realms, or dimensions.

Well-known examples include the Tree of Life (connects the underworld, Earth, and Heaven) and the River Styx (connects the Greek world to Hades). Also portals, stargates, pools of water, doors and mirrors are frequently used as literary devices to access other places.

This challenge is to come up with a unique "thing" to be the Axis Mundi and to describe how it works, what it connects to, who has access, etc.

This is NOT a story...no plot or characters. It's a creative description. No poetry.
