LyriCat Poem
Poetry Contest
I_am_Cat recently created a new form of structured poetry that she named LyriCat.
This is a fun form that doesn't require meter.
It has a specific syllable count and rhyme scheme though:
Syllable count:
7, 5, 5 , 5, 5, 5, 9, 5
Rhyme scheme:
(approximate and near rhymes are fine)
a, b, c, b, d, e, F, e
(F lines are repeated in all stanzas)
Minimum of 3 stanzas

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 64.00 member dollars. There are only 2 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
