Great chapter Deb, you build up the drama and Cody's emotional stress really well as well as giving us some more information about the killers.

Oh, this is getting serious, he's hurt Michael, that is most definitley not on! Jack had better get into the room quickly before he has another try. You really are galloping on, Debby, I'm behind again! AT least I have another part to read after I've had my dinner. Well done, another excellent chapter. :)) Sandra xxx

Thank you, Sandra. I hope you enjoyed dinner. :)
It's easy to get behind, isn't it. I went away for ONE day to celebrate with my family and there are 38 things in my inbox! THIRTY-EIGHT!.
I'm glad you're enjoying the book. I appreciate you, as always. :)

The ONLY consolation at ending it here is I saw another post by you above this one! Fantastic and absolutely exciting and scary! As usual, I find NO fault at all... gotta go read the next chapter.

Oh, Margaret, you're really not going to like where I leave you off in the next bit ? But I'll get a new segment up tomorrow.
We're going camping today ? down on the Jim Ned (creek) in 100 degree weather. Yay ? I think. Actually, we'll have a great time. I just wish it were about 15 degrees cooler!

What an exciting episode Deb. The action you're describing is excruciatingly captivating as far as the imagery is concerned, they are really resourceful, and they FBI seemingly are unresourceful, where is Jack when he's needed? See what you've done, I'm involved, well done Deb, great episode. Blessings, Roy

Thank you, Roy. I cannot say that I'm sad that I"ve 'gotcha'. lol. Our boy Jack still has a few things to learn, as do we all. Glad my 2x4 lessons aren't as difficult as his! :)

Couple of typos I mention just so you can fix them: 1) "vindictive" spelling 2) you have "the" as "teh" 3) At very top you have "death" as "deth."

Otherwise, this is right up there to your usual standards and I am looking forward to the next chapter. Very good writing.

I guess jumping into the middle of something will leave you confused, I was kind of lost. I found some errors. You misspelled death. You have an extra a before as. You spelled the teh. Vindictive is misspelled. If you fix them let me know and I'll up my rating.

Thank you, Earl. I always appreciate a sharp eye when mine have closed for the day. Fixed those and a couple of others, so I think we're good to go.
    Appreciate you!

Man, you are going to have to put a warning for violence in this post! If the police are watching the kids and the FBI knows what kind of killers are involved, why don't they post a guard who checks out all the medical personal? Scary stuff!

Don't know if you fixed already this but you have the following repeated in two consecutive paragraphs:
"We're working on a plan for school, if it comes to that. Laine says she'll play home school for a week or so until we get these guys caught." He played with his wedding ring as he spoke. "We're covered. Rudy's with Mom right now, and the feds are setting up here. We're covered, okay?"
"Every day? For the rest of our lives?"

"He blinked against teh" (the)

    Hi Helen;
I fixed all those nasty errors and thought I did put the warnings on this chapter. I'm so sorry I didn't prepare Y'all. It's fixed, as well.
Thank you for reviewing and catching the SPAG.
    Blessings,
    Deb
