Wow...This is really good...love the cowboy language.
The deeper meaning of the poetry really shines out."Even the wilds can be tamed by love".Thanks for sharing.

Creative spelling and dialect going on here for a cowboy poem. I smiled at the idea of the new underwear being the deal-breaker/deal-maker, with the idea Tim wants to talk 'a lot' compared to before. Nice conclusion.

Great - I do love cowboy poetry and write some of it too. It's so fun to see what stories we can come up with - actually there are some similar stories in most cowboy poetry. We almost got to go to the Elko Cowboy poetry show one year - but didn't work out. Perhaps another year.
good job.

I got invited to the Prescott, AZ. cowboy poet meeting a few years ago and got to read, aloud, a couple of my cowboy poems. Everyone seemed to enjoy them. one of them I'm posting tonight, "The red bandana" So glad you Enjoyed.

We never know what a lady may see in a man who is a bit on the wild side. But when she captures his heart we are amazed at the changes she can bring about in him. This was a fun read.

Your cowboy poetry was a refreshing take on Fanstory. Your graphics and cowboy slang was also a plus in my book.
The Rhymes were good, but the rhythm was sometimes off-beat making the read a bit off-kilter.
All in all, it was a very good story and a great read.
Thanks for sharing.

I was very disappointed when I got to the end....THERE WEREN'T NO MORE
I could have gone on reading your poem right through to "movie length"
I could have been in a cinema watching the old cowboy movies
love the language and the short decisive lines
to the point but told a powerful lot of a story
the characterization is brilliant...I feel like I know Tim and Lilly
have a smiley day

I'm not right sure woolly Tim was a cowboy,
because I never heard no real cowboy talk like that. And he's a bit too long in the tooth, too. He's maybe ok for an extra, I reckon.
