This picture of the 1947 truck with a coronavirus mask zoomed the other day in front of your friend's house is a fabulous entry! The poem and the photo have got a double interpretation. The great personification of "Old Heavy" perfectly narrates throughout its own flowing, well-rhymed storyline, the historical winning Chevy racer. At the same time, the photos' mask could be interpreted as man's absolutely next winning arrival of his delicate infected historical moment. How could I not love this photo taken poem? Great work and entry!

It was a real pleasure to read and imagine, Patricia! I love to give a glimpse to your cultural portfolio and choose the next topic to review at my convenience without looking at the hundredth to be collected and the stars to be assigned. I am only interested in my thematic cultural progress and helping all those who have an interest in it otherwise I do not review as you have well understood! Be happy with your beloved one! it's fine weather here and I have much to do with my gradchildren. Blessings. Tony

Hello, Sam,
Beautiful poem and presentation. The picture says fanart but you took the picture... I don't know how the fanart works. Personally, I don't like pictures with the fanart watermark on it. Well done.
Stay home, stay safe, save lives.

Gypsy Blue Rose,
I changed the picture and uploaded from my computer. I also have an account on FanArtReview, so I uploaded there first. I appreciate your review and comments.
Thank you.

A fun and clever little poem. I like the way it reads and develops a little story, and leaves the reader with the thought that this is only a small part of a much bigger story.

Well done! Making quite a statement with this one. In Ohio, the doctor lady who is making the daily report commented a couple days ago, we may need masks for a year to a year and a half out . . . I can't help but wonder how children at school will deal with that should it occur and where will all these masks come from? Battelle Institute in Ohio just got approved to recycle 160,000 masks per day (20 times each) to supply Ohio and key points around the country, but how many will it take to keep us masked for the duration of need? Wow! I went on a tangent there. Great poem. Great photo. Great job!

This is a GREAT poem. It is skillfully-written, descriptive, moving, and
light-hearted. This amusing poem is proof that we can laugh at such times. I love the picture.

Let me guess, You're a truck guy. Maybe, maybe not, but your words seem to lean that way, probably like you do in the truck, LOL. Have a wonderful day and best wishes.

I like the idea of the chevy truck with springtime. We can't forget those old vehicles that helped us get around back then and we wonder how we ever survived but then there wasn't virus pandemics, lol. This has a great rhyme scheme and sounds out well. It gets me enthused for cars and trucks now. They do make great displays beside trees, lol, and matching colour almost. You bring the old chevy back to life in your poem. :0)) Interesting and enjoyable read.

Makes for a great photo for the times we are living through - 'get the looks from passersby' - masks are likely to be de rigueur soon it seems - maybe even for machines ! what about Alexa?

Hah! Patricia!
Definitely a "hoot!" And definitely a "winner" in my book for "Take A Photo Poetry" contest! Hands down a delight! Love how the jalopy is personified; I always suspected old cars had deep feelings.
Just the smile I needed today!
Thank you!
