This is definitely worthy of six stars, which I'm currently out of. Thanks for sharing this very humorous look at yourself. What a much better world this would be if people were much more honest.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this nutty personal bit, Bill -- I always feel like I'm answering those questions that the students used to ask (back when I taught full time) for the yearbook or the school newspaper! :) ;) Thanx so much for reading about the crazy blonde and thank you more for the virtual stars -- they'll be a wonderful adjunct to all the others I'm trying to create to make up for the fact that the only thing 'out' in our sky today is clouds and rain! ;) ;) LOL! Blessings, sir! :) Yvette

Yvette, loved reading this reveal. A lot of it I suspected from just reading your work, so no real surprises there. It also made me hope for you that you will eventually get to fulfill that dream of travel to see the world. Reminds me of a line from one of my favorite plays: "Our Town". Two southern women are sitting together husking peas and one says to the other that she believes that everyone, before they die, should visit a place where they don't speak your language. This sounds like you in a many ways. Thanks for sharing. Loren

Oh, I would so consider it an 'Adventure To Be Had', Loren!! :) ;) How cool would that be: total immersion into 'unfamiliarity'!! Okay, but it would need to be somewhere 'safe'...she ain't the spring chicken she used to be and running/hiding/intrigue would not do now....I don't think....maybe.... okay, so maybe just a little to get the blood pumping but no REAL life-threatening stuff!! That's where I draw the line!! ;) :) LOL! Thanx for the review on this crazy posting, sir -- and be sure to get some sunshine for me today because it's looking like total clouds and more rain today here -- take care! ;) Yvette

To my favorite rocket lady, I loved getting to know more about you. You are off the charts smart, girl. Heavens above the rest of us, literally. It nice that you're so personable and sweet though. The fact that you like bread from the oven makes you even more endearing.
All my best,
Sal xo

You are too kind, Lady Sal -- and I'm so grateful to be in your sphere (cuz you accept nerds like me!! lol!) And, yes, I am 'trainable' for social situations as long as you offer fresh bread - LOL! ;) Thank you for everything, Sally! ;) ;) Yvette :)

Hey Yvette: I sort of figured out number one based on your profile. This is an interesting little test. I'm thinking of filling one in myself. (Thinking is the operative word). Since Numbers one and eight are the only questions I have ever considered, I am guessing it will be a surprise to me whatever my answers are.

So, have you gone from 'thinking' to 'seriously considering'...? Because I, for one, would thoroughly enjoy any of the surprising and even intriguing answers you come up with!! ;) ;) Thanx for stopping by on this one -- take care! ;) ;) Yvette

I'm getting closer to taking the plunge.
-
Jump! Jump! Jump!! :) ;)
-
In the military I told my colleagues they were crazy when they went to "jump school." I refused to jump out of an airplane that was flying just fine. This might be a similar experience. LOL -Robert-
-
I'm with ya there -- I am 100% a 'fun junky' but there is NO REASON to jump out of a perfectly good airplane!! :) But, this writing cliff.... now there's a jump to seriously consider!! ;) ;) LOL! :)
-
You are making me feel like Humpty Dumpty in the conspiracy that claimed "he was pushed." LOL
-
Shhhh....I know the real truth there, he wasn't pushed: he fell asleep contemplating whether or not to answer some questions and, well, you know eggs tend to roll and all.... LOL! LOL!

Good job for the questions. You've stated your goals very nicely. And wisely chose your one day to sit in a shuttle and realize there is "no way" that you could survive.

Very interesting information, and I'm glad to read about someone whose ambition was to be an astronaut. I just read the fascinating book "Rocket Boy" by Homer Hickam, who became interested in rocket science after reading about Sputnik. Although he lived in a coal-mining town, he went on to work for NASA. I'm with you on the bread. Pepperidge Farm white bread is my favorite at the moment, but I love homemade rolls. Iced tea always sounds good to me. Enjoyable reading. judi

Yeah, I was more than a bit of a crazy clothes fashionista before kids...was weird transitioning because I even had some REALLY COOL maternity clothes from when I worked full time all the way up til my first son's birth! I worked at home until the second (then it was just too damn much and my kids weren't going into daycare - a personal thing I don't reflect on anyoone else...). :) ;)
I'll be sure to save you a rocking chair out on the front porch, ma'am --
Will be sortof 'out' this week as mom comes into town this afternoon to spend a week... will check in here and there, but mostly out... take care of you! :) ;) Yvette

Enjoy your time with your mom and make sure to have ice tea with her.
