Yes these two things always go together. In Eden, with such beauty yet the Serpent tempted Eve and Adam. Yes Noah was a chosen person but he fell to the temptation of taking wine. We are all sinners but we are also good people. Our deeds can not save us but only by the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am indebted to you. I was afraid to post my poem in this site as I do not know the reaction to such Biblical poem. Then when I read yours and others, I feel encouraged. Thank you

Hello Sally,
You've written a beautiful story; I agree with every word of it,
including the ice cream. We stopped watching TV news
and most shows long ago. It is a simple way to improve one's life
immediately.
There is beauty in nature all around us, plus wonderful people, arts, crafts, music, even poetry.
Beautiful story and message.
Well done.
Robert

Hello Sally: Well, you couldn't have chosen a more perfect title for this piece. When the reader matches your words with those beautiful pictures in this video, it truly becomes a thing of magnificent beauty.
God has surely provided all mankind with an unlimited source of mind-boggling splendor through-out our world.
However, we don't want to forget the most important beautiful creation that God ever made, in my opinion, that is "woman."
Take care of yourself, my friend...Bill

Solid opening line, and as we go on, I find myself quite captivated by your musing, only pulled out at mention of a god, but that is a taste issue, not a criticism on you.
I had no notes to make beyond that. I kind of feel like that is high praise, as I usually have a lot to say, but I was simply taken in by words.
A fine write.
In fact, here, have one, I hold them dear usually, but a good piece of writing is a good piece of writing.

Are those places still in existence in this world of trouble, Sally? All that I see is pain, hate, suffering, killing and hear the laughter of the beast when I see TV. There is nothing good anymore like you say. Thank you for sharing something Beautiful with me. Bless you. :)

I feel blessed and spoiled. I live in Vermont USA. This is a lovely tribute to what many have never seen or not very often. I invited my new neighbor up to sit while I worked outside. She just needed to sit. I needed no extra help. She was so moved by my backyard. She said she was from the city and had never sat and enjoyed the beautiful green leaves on trees. She was so elated. I appreciate these things every day. Thank you for this awakening for the reader.

Sal, this is beautiful. Amen to everything you said. Too much negativity brings the spirit low and can break a spirit if one is not careful. Better to break away and seek God's beautiful and free gifts which he provides for our well-being, sanity and renewal of spirit.
Philippians 4:8: I've always loved that verse.
After going through a horrible last 3 years under a new boss (I'd been with the same job for 19 years), I finally could not take the daily cussing, complaining, stomping, throwing down files and hearing her say, 'I hate my (bad word) job.' She loved the money and the position, though.
This younger woman wanted me out, was abusive to me daily. She did not like at all that I did my job with love and gusto, helping as many people as I could. I was seldom allowed to take my abundance of earned vacation, much less make doctor appointments.
When I turned in my notice on 04/22/19, (which I was not ready to do for another 7 years), my life changed. It took 5 weeks to let go of all the negativity, but now I'm free, alive, joyful and prayerful in my daily walks in nature and trusting God to lead me to what's next.
Life is too short, and God does bless us in so many ways. I love your story. Thank you for sharing :))

Dear Gale, thank you so much! I am so relieved to hear this and believe it or not, I thought of you and a few others specifically when I posted this. I prayed for everyone, that they would look up and see His glory, and let their problems go. I did the same. I am suffering greatly right now. I am overwhelmed with a sense that everything is in His hands and daily look to see the God who is so much bigger than the things pressing me. Thanks again for wonderful review and honesty. This comes with a prayer, that His beauty and glory will daily overtake you.
Always my best to you, dear Gale,
Sal xo

Thank you for your message!

I love this - it is so true that we can miss the simple beauty around us if we are too busy to see it, or are bombarded by negative images and events. Nature takes her time, and so should we, so we can let the true beauty into our soul.

I my eighty years of life, God has revealed many things to me. From who will be our next President to why He made Hitler and the slaughter of millions of people. We are creatures, created in His image and likeness with purpose. He is love and exposed His presence in His son Jesus, the example for all to become. We walk by faith in Him, We see by faith in Him. We become Him, through trial and error, known as sin. His blood atonement is before Him as Daddy and Son. Every father loves for his children to love him. This is what I receive from your write. My blessings to you dear sister in the Lord.

Comment from Ms. Snyder
Ms. Law you just put something so special into my universe!! I am so grateful and find that what you have written here is exactly the truth as I know it to be as well. In May of 2018, I stopped watching TV News and with one exception barely turn on the television at all for the same reasons you state. This video and your post couldn't have come at a better time for me. I enjoyed the video thoroughly! Something beautiful was a spectacular reminder of God to me and some passage that really resonates with how I live day in and day out. You deserve a lifetime of sixes!! You are dear to me and I thank you for touching my spirit and my soul with this writing! Cheers, Fonda

You never lost me dear, Ms. Law. I have been suffering from a poor hand for many months and I?ve just recently had my fifth surgery! I?ve always been a true fan of yours. I read almost everything that anyone that I had core people who started with me from my first days all the time. I just haven?t reviewed every piece that I?ve read. I?m sorry to bring tears but they come from a heartfelt place. I want my connections here to be as real and as honest as possible! I am grateful to know wonderful writers like you that post the most inspirational writing at the exact moment I need to read it!! You are a wonderful and very talented writer who I adore! We are always connected. I think the fan story gremlins have struck again! And I?ve noticed certain people this week that I fanned way back - those notices of new writing sometimes just don?t appear for whatever reason. Maybe because my mail box is always filled to the brim and I?ve exceeded how many notifications I can receive - either way - I apologize if you have felt my absence from your reviews. I do have a bit of an excuse but one I will try to remedy!!! Cheers again -for the fact that we started this Sunday dialogue. I?ve shared your writing for this piece ?Something Beautiful? with a few other Fan Storian?s because I think it is super important! I hope you see a few new reviews come through! Have a blessed and beautiful rest of your Memorial Day Weekend! Cheers, Fonda

Thank you, Fonda. This means so much and I am so sorry for your hand issues. I am going blind and writing a lot to keep up as fast as I can. I try not to waste a day in my writing whether I post or not. It?s getting harder to review these days and I stay close to my fan base. I will make sure your are fanned today just to make sure I have you on board. For some reason, I don?t get notifications from you anymore. I will tend to that right now! Sal xo
