LOL, that is so funny! I can just imagine that. Next time I write a note for my husband to bring some milk home, I'll try putting it in verse. LOL I loved this. Both sides writing their bit. Well done, this really made me laugh. :)) Sandra xx

My husband -a quiet account/man-of-few-words type- knows his pain, Dolly. I just figure, well, sheesh, come ONNN; ONE of us has to talk in this relationship!!! Right?!
Thanks for the fun review. xo

This is an excellent piece of flash fiction. Never has someone said so much about a relationship with so few words. The husband writes a flowery note and the wife deciphers it. I slip away to ease my disillusionment means he's at the store. It's original and funny and I really enjoyed it. Well done.

Dear Author,
This is an excellent Humor fiction entry! No one wants a poet for a husband regarding forgotten grocery store items! Clever story and well-written lines!
My best,
Deborah

Oh Rachelle, I laughed out loud. Thank you for sharing this. I do the same to my husband in texts, and he'll say, 'Ah I see you're writing your way through life right now.' Thoroughly enjoyable and well crafted.

Hahahahaha, Rachelle, I love this short flash. Oh the quirks of having a husband who's a poet! not an easy task on both sides I take. Wonderful writing and wonderfully thought out. All the best. Ulla:)))

Rachelle, this is so deserving of six stars, but I'm out.
This is so original, in its form and in content. I love it! You are an amazing writer. Keep it up!

As a single man, I have limited experience with co-habitation. Married for 5-6 years and shacked-up three times. However, the other person never frustrated me. It sounds as if you fed up with your mate. Those feeling happens. Nevertheless, you expressed the event clearly.

Thank you, Phillip. Actually, it's poor Christie who's married to the frustrating poet. Myself, I'm married to a quiet accountant who takes concise note-writing to an art form, Definitely no question about their meaning!
I liked this glimpse into your life, Philip. Thank you for the nice review. xo

Oh, yeah, that was worth a good chuckle this afternoon... kinda funny that he's the dramatic one since our husbands are never the dramatic one in the marriage....aaaand her words simply dripped with sarcasm and perhaps more... LOL! :) ;) Thanx for sharing! :) Yvette

Well, mine definitely isn't!! He's like the spokesmodel for Accountants R Us. But poor Christie didn't get that lucky.
Thanks for the fun review, Yvette. I love it. xo

I'm confused by 'fan fiction.' I thought fan fiction was based on actual characters and other writings that are in print. Maybe you could explain the category you chose. Or maybe it IS based on something else, only I'm not familiar with it.
Anyway, this was a hoot. I think it's a great satire on so many poets that go out of their way to express things in a very complicated manner. Nicely done, Rachelle. Hugs, Lou

I think I may have gotten it wrong, Lou. I couldn't find "Dribble" and it was too short for "flash." So I should go in and change that. Thanks for the heads-up.
I'm glad you liked it, though. xo
