Long read
I'm so tired now. But loyal and perceverant.
and the end jutifiys the beginning.
perfect story to read to someone you hate or are trying to drive to jump off a cliff.
well done.:-)).Z.

HAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!! That's the funniest line of the year. That's a compliment, yes? I can't stop laughing. I'm borrowing that. Thanks so much, mikey

Wow...can relate to a lot of this...especially, excelling at the hard stuff and failing the mundane. "You are not waitress material" he said, even though the tips were fantastic...and yet my aptitude test said corporate lawyer..
Your wife may have kissed a few frogs, before she met you....as for not closing your business..I get it..tenacity....

It sounds like we share several pages in the same book, Nika. So pleased you related to this. Thanks so much, mikey

Loyalty, determination, patience and perseverance--.... yup! I know those character traits well. I have them too.
You and I have tons of things in common. I'm loyal even when the smart and healthy thing to do is to let the bastard go.
It took me five years to admit to myself he was not going to come back. Being in love with someone who doesn't love back is the worse. My exhusband was a lying disloyal bastard but I was loyal anyway.
We are who we are darlin' even when it hurts.
You are a total catch and your qualities are the ones that count.
Great entry for the contest. I'm still working on mine.
Luv ya, darlin,
Loyal gypsy

I'm going to have to bring you with me on dates. LOL
If they don't come around, you can give them a speech. HAHAHA!
You're too kind. But I have to agree. About your asshole husband that is. Oh, and I guess I'm a decent catch. I still have my hair and stuff. :)) mikey
-
Well... I don't know if you are decent but you are definitely a catch, darling. LoL
LMAO. I can see us out on a date with a hot chick. I would wear a blinding and impeccable white sweat suit. You would have a sexy boxer outfit with head bandanna so you don't drip sweat on the girl. (I hate that) I would be in the corner of the dark room, barely visible (kind of creepy).
I would cheer you on. "come on, baby! Come on, sugar! You can do it! Who's the sexiest man in the room? You are! That's who."
(Mike huffing and pufffing moving at incredible speed, girl just lying there like a dead fish).
"Are you a freaking lifeless Barbie? Are you aware who you are dealing with? You Brainless piece of poo?" ..... LMAO

I don't think this is your whole life but it's certainly an interesting part. Determination is what it takes to make it... not just brains and talent. When you have both, wheee! :)

I'm missing something. But, I'm determined to find it. LOL
Glad you found this interesting. It's kind of revealing to write it. Fun too. The people here know more about me than anybody BY FAR! mikey

Of course, there are loads of ways in which we are so different but quite a few in which we are the same. Enough to enjoy a drink together anyway.
I found this a fascinating story sorry, autobiography, I have just seen it classified as diary non fiction. Yes, it gripped me especially the bits where I felt I was looking in a mirror. No, neither of my two wives ad sisters and the one long term relationship who did have a sister made me continually grateful that I hadn't met the sister first.
a most enjoyable read.

You made the right choice there then. Lucky break. LOL
I make few mistakes, but they are HUGE. It's fun to write this stuff. Rather revealing to myself actually. Yep, a drink together sounds good to me. Thanks a million, mikey

Hi Micheal,I can't review as well as other people...and forget about me ever catching mistakes!!!..So lets talk around emotions!!! YOU need a HUG!!! So I'm sending you one...Did ya get it??? :-) Sometimes those demons from our past...just have a way of hanging around...not to say we can't overcome, but..sometimes it hard. That part about your mother, ugh..killing me,BUT a testament to the strong women that raised you...that forged a "conscience" in you..everyone makes mistakes...just not everyone cares. As far as not being believed?? Well, that's an insecurity with others...and people are always a little suspicious of nice easygoing fun people...probably a little jealous too. Anyway, this was a great read...wow boy you sure can lay it all on the line...Have a splendid day..here's anther hug coming your way...be ready :-)

YES. Got the hugs. Believe me, all writers relish reviews that tell us what you the reader feel and think about what we have written. The technical stuff is important, yes. But plenty of people tell us about that. Did you like it? That's what we want to know more than anything. This is an awesome review, one of the best I've received. Add some hugs, it can't be beat. Any writer would be pleased to receive it, so don't be shy. Thanks a bunch. Here's an Irish Hug back at ya! mikey

Well, I doubt you just started blathering :) If you had just listed some happenings in your life, it wouldn't have been so engaging. Everybody goes through misery. But you concentrated on your traits and tendencies, added the usual humour and forward style, and it became a great piece. I guess structuring a text becomes a reflex when you have experience, and it feels easy and fun.

You're so kind to say so. There's something about writing about yourself that lends to organization. I suppose you know your own story so well that it's not too difficult to keep it orderly. That's my guess. I'm so pleased you enjoyed. I'm smiling with the lovely compliments. Thanks so much, mikey

This made me laugh. Maybe you don't intend it to, but one of your tendencies is to say self-deprecating things in a funny way. I like the way you build up a trait and then... darn...tear it right down again. You sound like a pretty nice person with an uninflated ego, even tho you start off sounding just the opposite. Lol. Enjoyed reading this.

Great job of telling your story in your voice., especially with the humorous ending...it was engaging, enlightening, and entertaining. I don't doubt one iota of your story.

I have to laugh. I'm as secretive and closed mouthed as anyone in the world, except here. I just blather on about anything here. I wouldn't tell anyone I know outside of here any of this stuff. HAHAHA! I'm pleased you liked this. It's fun to write. mikey
Comment from Thomas Bowling
Great writing. Didn't see where this was going until I got to the end. Loyalty became stalker. Funny twist. Who got there first her boyfriend or the cops?
