I think this will make an enchanting book, not only for children, but for the grandmothers who read the stories to them. I know I would have read it to mine. This is lovely, Yvonne, very creative as well. Well done, my clever sister!! More love and hugs!! :)) Sandra xx

Thank you!

I am glad Wally threw away all the shades grey - forty I believe - because with them on his palette he might haver forgotten about the butterflies and painted something entirely different and a lot less acceptable.
I do love these little Wally tales. After a hard days reviewing all the misery and broken hearts it is right to have something a touch lighter.
The forty shades of grey? No doubt he'll paint those when he's a bit older.

That's a long time off. I think Wally has some gypsy blood the way he loves bright colors. He really puts his all in his painting. I have to see that he keeps one foot on the floor. LOL
Thank you for a lovely review. I'm always happy to see that you like my work. 8-)

Your character is darling, damommy, and I'm sure children will love reading about him.
You chose your rhyming words well - nothing was forced. I think my favorite phrase is:
he had a little forehead frown
That is so cute! Hugs, Lou

Wonderful, whimsical treatment of a children's subject, giving the young reader something to think about. Looks as though there might be a sequel?

Always a fun read which reads easily and your rhyme scheme is very well done. Love the artwork of Wally. This is a very good book, so keep them coming.

Wally had to take a far walk to find something inspiring to paint a picture and just when he wants to give up he found lots of butterflies in his neighbor's garden. It will be a nice and colorful painting.
